welcome to the blog! Hopefully your knees will continue to feel better. Great job getting back out there!

From Dave Holt on Tue, Dec 04, 2007 at 11:23:47

That's about $240 worth of pudding right there!

From Dave Holt on Tue, Dec 04, 2007 at 11:27:52

I've noticed that sometimes when a pain sets in, if I just keep it going things start to work themselves out (that is if it's not major). I also wondered about (and I may have told you this) about some barefoot grass running for you. Once a week, go to the fields at the college there as you finish your run and run some barefoot striders - then another time finish off your run with just a few easy laps around those fields shoeless. A lot of times, barefoot running will allow your body to work on correcting some of the deficiencies in running gate.

Welcome to the blog! Great marathon time.

Hope the knees feel better.

Welcome to the blog. I kind of know you but I don't know if you know me. We haven't really met but I have seen you at some races. and your bro is my coach. Keep up the good work.

From Dave Holt on Wed, Dec 05, 2007 at 10:26:32

Uhhh? I believe you do something with computers! Good job getting out again - keep it easy, light, and consistent.

But what about the "fancy dance"? After all it is A HIGH KNEE KICK!

From James Holt on Tue, Dec 11, 2007 at 11:43:20

I did do the "dance" for a few steps but had to stop because I started laughing thinking about our conversation. Good times.

the ending sounds like the Red Green man's prayer (I'm a man; but I can change; if I have too; I guee) - here's a version for you: I'm a runner; but I can finish; no matter what; I guess. Nice run jimmie!

From Dave Holt on Thu, Dec 13, 2007 at 09:31:48

It does get way cold down by the river - sometimes like 10 degrees cooler. I just noticed on James (Mona Flash)'s blog that he created a group for the Moab 1/2 and still has a couple spots. If you think you are going to do it, you should join that group on your entry - it will greatly increase the odds of getting in.

From James Holt on Thu, Dec 13, 2007 at 11:30:50

Crap. I already entered as a solo runner. Oh well. If i dont get in I save 50 bones, I guess.

Awesome run James - I've been a Garmin fan for years! enjoy!

From Dave Holt on Thu, Dec 27, 2007 at 14:29:27

I bet it is because as your running has improved and you are getting in better shape, your gate and stride are improving thus requiring constant adjustments on the Nike crap.
