Ran to the high school to do some 1000 repeats on the track but there was something going on there. Wasnt sure what to do but as I ran past the elementary they had a relativly flat track around their ball fields so I measured out what I thought was 1000 meters with the garmin and got to work. Ive never done these before so I wasnt sure how fast to go. I looked at Dustins 1000 workout from a few weeks back before I left home and figured Id try to go around 3:30 and see how that felt.

The jog home was tough because my legs where really, really tired. Might have been a bit to fast or maybe I ran too many. Who knows. I do know that all my times where off because when I got home I looked up how far 1000 is in miles and I was going .1 too far each time except on number 2 where I went .3 too far. Glad thats over with. |
