Parkway/Maverik. Longest run yet. Adding that 3/4 mile from what ive been doing sure sucked it out of me. Thankfully everything felt ok.

Parkway/Sienna Hills. First run since getting sliced open that felt like a run. No pain or stiffness and legs felt good. Starting to love running at night again.

Parkway/Sienna Hills. Same as last night. Didnt feel quite as good as last night but still its fun to be able to run without pain. Even if its not very far yet. After 1 1/2 years of issues id forgotten what it was like.

Grapevine. Might have done a bit much the last two runs as I felt like I did before surgery during this whole run. Going to try and keep week day runs below 4 and then just go by feel on the Saturday runs if at all for a few weeks.

Parkway past the church. Had a really fun run tonight. It was raining and I felt pretty good so it was a good combination.

Main to the end of the pavement. Took the watch to see how the pace is going. Better than I thought but I think I pushed cause I was wearing the watch. |

Parkway. Started out easy and things felt off. For some reason (frustration with this whole thing) I sped up and ran the whole thing fast(ish). Thankfully I was smart enough to not try and go further.

Main. Another pretty good little jog. The inversion down here is horrible. I recall it ever being quite this bad.

Parkway. Easy down to Telegraph and then picked it up out past the church and back. Started going faster cause it was so cold then decided to try and hold it the whole way. Felt really good again. Excited to see what can happen if I can stay healthy.

Parkway/Sienna Hills. Got out a little earlier in the evening so it wasnt quite so chilly today. No issues just a little tired after spending all day shopping. I hate that I leave it till the last minute every year.

Highland park. Started with the intention of doing 6 but as I got going it was so nice out I decided to go for 8. Felt ok until the climb by the Maverik (mile 2) and I tightened up in the lowest abs. Not a good sign but I pressed on. The climb up the ridge added to the fun and the rest of the run didnt feel so hot for that area which was to bad because my legs and breathing were ready to go another several miles. Hopefully its just from not having run up any hills since the surgery and not more issues developing cause this is how it felt when this all started last year.

Parkway. The tightness from Saturday didnt lessen and seemed to get worse and spread/turn to pain on Sunday and wasnt much better today. Stretched good before and after but I havent had pain like this since before the surgery. Sigh.
