Highland Park. Didnt feel too bad today but thought id cut it just a little short to see if it helps me feel rested for tomorrows tempo.

New fields tempo loop. Had high hopes for a good run but just never felt even remotely good. Body was worn out and wouldnt go. Got to just before the park on the way back and the body shut down completely and started experiencing some enjoyable pain in the lower ab/goin that was radiating under and around to my butt. That wasnt enjoyable at all. Forgot the watch so no idea on pace but im not imagining it was worth noting.

Up/back STG course. Ran up the course to the base of the volcano 11 miles then back the the finish. Hit the way up at a pretty good pace (7:20s i think) then stopped for a quick potty break. Started back down a little tired and sore but after 1/2 mile I loosened up and was able to keep 5 miles at 6min avg. Then slowed with each mile dispite any effort to the contrary for the next 4 but was able to put in a good final mile pushing hard. 

HARD workout but one I think I should do more often.
