Talked to Scott for a few minutes and then did a couple mile warm up and got back just in time to put my number on and jump in place for the start. Ryan took off like a shot and several others tried to go with him but they fell back pretty quick. I just wanted to keep him in sight knowing im still not quite back from the marathon.

I wanted to do about 6:00 miles for the whole race and thats about what I hit so I feel good about this run. I bested last years time by 3 minutes so Im happy there. I slacked off pretty bad this week so I need to get back into it next week.

Great job James! I would hate to race you if you were recovered! Awesome!

You looked like you were focused and feeling good. Great race. Defyance or Summon?

Great job James! Always nice to stick to last year's time. Shows how much the hard work and dedication are paying off; now keep it rolling.

Neuman's a mad man right now, so no loss there.

Tyler - I dont think you would have to worry too much about me.

Vis - Thanks for the water offers :) It was Defyance today. I really like them now that I have them laced up right.

Burt - Thanks!

Dave - You should have seen that crazy guy take off. I think he thought someone was actually going to try and race him today. He didnt know I was running until we passed each other at one of the turn arounds. Then he turned on the juice again. Congrats again on your race. Your the man.

Nice job on the race. How did the length compare to last year, was it more accurate.

From Sasha Pachev on Wed, Jun 10, 2009 at 14:53:07 from 64.81.245.109

Dustin asked an interesting question. It was called a 10 K, right? It should be a 10 K, shouldn't it? We all know it does not quite work that way.

From JamesH on Wed, Jun 10, 2009 at 20:51:35 from 75.169.155.188

Dustin - I had it dead on this year as did Ryan.

Sasha - You would think they would all be right on but usually arent. This one was long by almost .2 last year.
