City Wells/Prospector/Cottonwood Hills/Brackens Loop. 

Woke up late to rain and thought it would be a good day to just stay on the roads but as I approched the City Wells trail I decided that that would be a fun route in the rain. Once I got to the Prospector turn off I decided to heck with only going 10 miles. Its only perfect weather to run this route a few times a year so I went for it. The trail was perfect and no one else was around and the rain was awesome. Got to the Cottonwood Hills trail turn off and took it because why not. Never been on this trail and it is absolutely beautiful especially in todays weather. The rain had picked up at this point and was starting to make waterfalls down the sandstone cliffs so I stopped and got a nice drink and checked out the area a little. Ran into the Brackens Loop trail so I jumped on it and looped around to the top of City Wells and came home on that trail. So much fun out there when the sand is damp from the rains. Glad I went for it and bagged the road run.
