Treasure Valley park. Im still not sure what I realistically should have as my goal marathon pace so I just figured 6:30 would work.1 mile warm up then got right into the workout. 3x2mile @ MP with .5 jog in between.

1 - 6:18avg(6:18,6:18) Felt pretty comfortable on this set

2 - 6:25avg(6:19, 6:30) A little more forced but still felt good

3 - 6:18avg(6:22, 6:14) uphill here so I had to push to keep an even pace

3.5mile cool down. All in all not a bad workout. 6:30 might be a little much for the whole marathon but I think Ill stick with that as the goal. On another positive note, no ab/groin issues. Its seems like if I go to long without running when I start again I would have a couple weeks of grief. Not so(yet) this time.

Very nice workout! I'm just planning to get with the 3:10 pace group guys at St. George and qualify for Boston again. I haven't done any long runs so I will probably struggle.

Youve still got enough time to squeeze in a few longish runs. Get on it. I dont want to see you laying on the ground dead like after UVM a couple years back.
