I didnt want to chance the afternoon heat so I started the run on the treadmill. 1 mile warm up and then started tempo. Hit 2 at 6:15 and then had to wrangle the kids. Started up again but before I got back to tempo mode again it was dinner time so I stopped. Food before everything I say. Headed outside after dinner settled and did the Parkway 6 at 7 min pace. Maybe I'll break up runs to twice a day a couple times a week. The legs felt much better doing that than trying to hit all the mileage in one run. |
