2 mile warm up with Dave which was pretty taxing so I knew this wasnt going to be much of a race for me. The way out wasnt too bad and I thought that the Circle was going to race but when I caught up to them I knew they where just messing around. I kept trying to go but I was done. The way back was horrible and had a bad headwind and they just pulled away with each mile. This was way worse than I remember from last year. Checked the splits against last year and I did hit some of the downhills much faster this year but most of the uphill was slower some miles way slower. Did get some rain which was nice to run in for a few minutes. |
