Met up with Mike, Bill, Cody, Dustin and Ken and ran down Utah Hill to Mikes house in Santa Clara. Rained the whole run and I loved it. Everyone took off as soon as we got out of the car but I needed to stretch so I was alone for the first few miles until the first water stop. I started to feel really tired and shaky just before the water stop and was thinking this was going to be a long run. I had a gatorade there and after getting some of that down I felt better. I was still back behind everyone but coming up the Shivwitts hill I passed everyone but Dustin and from there back to Mikes the pace was pretty good. Stayed right with Ken and Dustin until Kayenta when they stopped for water. I just grabbed mine and kept on trucking. I would have like to have had my watch to see what the times where for those last several miles cause it felt like I was hitting pretty good miles. Felt smooth and not effortless but like I could keep that effort for miles for the first time in well over a year or more. I think Dustin said he had just over 7 pace for the whole run so a nice run.

Nice job hitting your own run. Glad to see the progress.
