Felt really good and smooth for the first half and thought I was moving at a good pace but when I saw 1:27 for the half I got pretty frustrated and the last half was hard to not just bag it. Ended up holding the same pace for the rest but it sure didnt feel like it. I dont know that I have ever been so frustrated/mad during a run in my life.

Did have a funny thing happen after that race. I had several ShotBlocks in small zip bags in the waist band of my shorts. At about mile 2 they got loose and started to slide away. Grabbed two and thought I lost one. When I got home I took off my shorts to get in the shower and the blocks dropped to the floor along with my shorts. Must have gotten tucked in my underwear somewhere cause I couldnt tell they where there.

Leave it to ShotBlocks to try to relieve the tension of a frustrating run. Here's to some great months of running until the next big race.

Do NOT eat those! Time will show you that this wasn't bad at all. You will be back stronger than ever.

That's funny!

Good job man. Way to hang on the second half... that's hard to do.
