Middleton. Nice to be able to go out in the evening and not die of heat stroke.

Easy mile warm up. Decided that if I could keep Ryan and David S in sight I would be ok.  I could see them if I squinted really hard but they just pulled away till I lost sight completely. The first several miles were ok but I fell apart on mile 10. I was able to get going again for miles 11 and 12 but slowed down again on mile 13. I was wondering what I was doing all this for during the last of this race. I was trying to not look at my watch every couple steps so I didnt realize that I was doing better than I thought until I saw the timer at the finish line. Did a few miles to cool down after. Once it was all done I felt better about everything. Second fastest half marathon race ever for me so not as bad as I was thinking during the run. Also won 2nd place overall in the SGRC race series so that was fun.

Around Ivins, Kayenta with Bill and Ken. Was planning on doing 20+ but that didnt happen. Bill kept taking off and after several miles Ken joined him. I just kept on at a nice easy 7 min pace. By the time we got back into Dixie Downs I was spent. Legs felt like I had run a lot further than I had so I just called it good.

Last of the marathon course. Couple mile warm up and then got 7 miles at marathon pace. Slowed on mile 10 but sped back up for another mile. After that I was way tired so I just came in mid sevens to finish.

Middleton. Got out a little earlier in the afternoon today and boy am I not used to the heat (even though its not near as hot as it was). Had to stop at the park for water and then at a stream on the way back. Other than that it was a good run.
