City Wells/Sand Hill. Rain again so I headed for the trails. Went up Sand Hill and once I got up and over and to the bottom I decided that it was so much fun Id run back the same way id just come. That wore me out. Thats a pretty good climb to do back to back in the sand. Saw some really cool water falls coming off the sandstone rocks. Ran up some of the washes to check out the water coming down them. Good stuff.

Southern Parkway. Good run. Went easy till half then sped up for a few then hit 5 at just below marathon pace then easy the final few miles.

Highland Park. Didnt feel too bad today but thought id cut it just a little short to see if it helps me feel rested for tomorrows tempo.

New fields tempo loop. Had high hopes for a good run but just never felt even remotely good. Body was worn out and wouldnt go. Got to just before the park on the way back and the body shut down completely and started experiencing some enjoyable pain in the lower ab/goin that was radiating under and around to my butt. That wasnt enjoyable at all. Forgot the watch so no idea on pace but im not imagining it was worth noting.

Up/back STG course. Ran up the course to the base of the volcano 11 miles then back the the finish. Hit the way up at a pretty good pace (7:20s i think) then stopped for a quick potty break. Started back down a little tired and sore but after 1/2 mile I loosened up and was able to keep 5 miles at 6min avg. Then slowed with each mile dispite any effort to the contrary for the next 4 but was able to put in a good final mile pushing hard. 

HARD workout but one I think I should do more often.

River Trail/Fields tempo. Wasnt easy but I felt like I was goind a a decent pace and  the times would be much better then the last few weeks. That was until I finished and looked at them. What the H? Times not coming down and Im working WAY too hard to have these times feel like an all out sprint. Getting old sucks big D. 6:14,6:14,6:08,6:03,6:14,6:13,6:15

Trail/fields tempo with Dave. Felt like I was holding a good pace until the last mile where I knew I was fading but was working to keep a decent pace. 5:57,6:04,6:01,5:58,6:10,6:20,6:19,6:19 (6:09 avg).

So first half was good and second half not sure what happened.
