Middleton. Felt good until middle of mile 3 and then the hip started acting up again. We're off to have a baby today so I might not get a run in tonight or tomorrow. Will see how everything goes.

7.57 Fields w/Dave. Dave came and forced me out of bed so I'll get back into the zone. Thanks! Hip tried to be a little sore but not as bad as it has been.

4 Half Parkway and back. Everything except the hip felt really good tonight. Picked up the pace for the whole run.

9.6 Wendys with Dave. Best run Ive had in a while. Hip tried to act up a couple times but I told it to "knock it the crap off" and then I was ok.

7 Club run with Logan, Arron and Eric. Logan was kind enough to take it easy on us.

Down the marathon course. Felt pretty good except about miles 2-5. I got really shakey and lost all my energy like I had low on blood sugar or something. Weird. Its happened twice this week. Logan and Eric where kind enough to hang back with me till they had to take a restroom break. Thought they would catch right back up but I think I spead up and they just kept it easy cause they didnt pass till just coming into town.

Grapevine-Highland. Hot run in the mid morning. I really need to get my lazy #@$ up and run at a decent time cause the heat about killed me today.

It was a beautiful moring for a race. Nice and cool. The garmins battery died so I didnt have that to help keep me on pace. Steve O said he was going for 36-37 so I figured I would just hang around him and Id be ok. That stratagy was thrown out the window about 10 steps into the run. There was no way I was going to keep that kind of pace for the whole run so I just tried to keep within eye sight of Steve and the other guy and hoped for the best. There was a long old hill right in the middle of the race and man did that take some mental jucie to make up. Passed a home with several dogs out front and got a bit concerned but after seeing the first 2 guys make it by without injury I figured I was ok. If they would have wanted me I couldnt have stopped them. Tried to get closer to number 2 guy on the downhill and the last couple miles but he had more go and I was huffing and puffing like I'd just smoked a pack. I was hoping for a lot better time than this but even Steve O was off by a couple minutes so I wont kick myself to hard. Bit disscuraging as my marathon goal pace is faster than this race pace and I dont know if Im up for 26 miles at that speed.

Longer Fields route. Took it easy and just let the body go at whatever pace it wanted. Not super impressed with the new shoes. Both times ive worn them i've got a blister on my right heel. I'll give them a couple more runs before I really bad mouth them.

Was going to run the Parkway to Highland but it was so dark I was triping on the dirt road so I came back and ran the long Parkway route. Legs where pretty tired today.

Club run down the marathon course. Didnt know what I was going to do this time. I just figured I'd let my body do whatever it wanted. This was one of those runs that make it all worth while. I felt incredible for almost the whole run. At one point it was like my legs didnt have any weight and I was just floating down the road. Weird feeling but fun. Still excited about it. 6:50 avg

Did the last 16 of the marathon course. Did a few warmup miles with Dave, Clyde and Logan and then they took off. I ran 10 at marathon pace and then the last few in town as a cool down. Legs are spent but its a good spent.
