Ran most of the route as a warm up with Dave, Mr. Finch and Steve. I knew that the hill coming out of the river was going to kill me but the rest of the route seemed fun.

Dave, Steve, Mr. Finch and a kid from Hurricane took off in the lead group and I pretty much never saw them once we left the road. I was back behind a couple of kids for 1/4 mile then passed them and was alone for the rest of the run. Thought maybe the down hill might cause me some issues at race speed but never had any problems thankfully. Once at the bottom of the hill my legs were spent and I knew the climb back up was going to be ugly. It was and I was suprised to see the Hurricane kid only a short distance in front of me. If I would have had any juice left I could have caught him but that wasnt going to happen so I just kept him from getting to far ahead.

Finished with a couple mile cool down and then the awards.

Good run. I think a good show for you fitness right now.

Also, I noticed we all called the race something different, but a close variation. Dinner for whoever is right... On Steve!

I'm glad to hear your issue didn't flare up on you. Nice solid run with getting going again!

BTW - I think James has the name right.

I just went off of what was on the results paper they gave us.

Nice race. Seems like you still had some in the tank for climb, which doesn't surprise me considering the way you bounded up that hill on Wednesday.

Good Job Mr. Holt!

Good job catching another race. Use it as a good spring board to some faster tempo workouts and continued progress. Nice job!
