Warmed up from the start line up to Gilbert Development and used the portapotty there cause my stomach was arguing with me then ran back to the start. Saw Nate and a few others and jumped in line to get started. Went out too hard the first few miles trying to keep up with the kids half my age and in much better shape and I payed for it at the end. Did a pretty good job of keeping positive when I started getting down and caught and passed 1 guy at the bottom of the Dam Rd. The last several miles were HARD but thankfully no one passed me and I didnt die even though I really wanted to. For my first half race in 3 years I think it went pretty well and this gives me a good measurement of where I stand for Boston.

Nice race and strong run. Looking good for Boston, it will be great to see how you do there.

Nice job on the race James, looks like things are starting to come together again for you.

Awesome race James. Sub 6 min pace is pretty good on that course. Looking good coming into BeanTown. All the tempos are paying off!
